A Look Inside Kit and Ace In The Central West End

STL’s newest buzzworthy shop, Kit and Ace, opened their doors last week to the delight of the city’s most stylish.  The Copper Studio, Kit and Ace’s road-tripping pop-up shop, also made a special appearance in the Lou to celebrate the opening. We were lucky enough to get to visit both, plus ask the famous founders (Shannon and JJ Wilson, wife and son of Lululemon founder, Chip) a few questions about their stylish boutique on wheels.

The Copper Studio made its way to St. Louis in honor of the store opening. “The Copper Studio’s journey ‘The Grand Tour’ was inspired by the classic European rite of passage to trek through the continent in search of art and culture,” says JJ Wilson, cofounder and head of brand for the company. “From there we came up with the concept to take our brand on the road and engage with locals in key markets through impromptu Real Talk sessions, Supper Clubs and interviews with local creatives.” Photo by Morgan Stevens.
